The Importance of Free Markets
If I want to sell myself as a meal for instance for a cannibal that's my right. As long as the cannibal pays are going right then I can set myself up. There'll be lots of other grounds on which it might be a morally wrong thing to do but I don't think it's unjust and I do think it would be unjust to stop you. This is not an argument against free markets. It is a reason for looking at what economists call the endowments that people bring to the market. These endowments in particular their magnitude are because of some prior injustice perhaps compounded historical prior injustices, he says.
