The Inda European Language

The original inda european speakers used the same word for both a guest and a host. In other words, to day's host is to morrow's guest. This resulted in a sophisticated system of guest host relationships. The horse and wagons had transformed the steps from an ecological barrier to a transcontinental highway. They were now masters of the steps, and they were on the move. We've now entered the era of pastoral nomads.
