What Does a Mediterranean Diet Really Mean?

Mediterranean diet, let's double click a little bit on that because that often is a word I guess or a diet that gets thrown out there a lot. It really depends which country you're in and this really started in the 1960s in Crete specifically so this is in Greece. These Mediterranean diet from what I would think would be the traditional Mediterranean diet that's high in fruits and vegetables, it's high in nuts, olive oil, particularly extra virgin is the main source.
