How to Create Triggers for Your Partner

The rest of this episode will contain fairly intense spoilers for a video game called Bioshock. Do not continue to listen if you don't want that game spoiled. If you haven't played it yet, I really strongly recommend it. It's an excellent example of libertarianism in a gigantic underwater steampunk techno city. The whole process is pretty simple. But one of the steps that many other people ignore or disregard or don't understand the significance of is not only making sure that an effect fires off when you use the trigger, but ensuring through conditioning that a effect does not fire off when you don't use the trigger.
