How to Promote a Better Integration of Theory and Practice

Laila: I think the biggest thing for me is how do I get my students to connect, to continue to connect outside of the classroom. Rick: There's such a disconnect between sometimes what I'm teaching and what students are seeing in their assistantships or practicums. Laila: How can we close those gaps? So that's something I'm taking away for sure. And this conversation opportunity to expand that impact as well.
