The Importance of Intention in a Relationship
Herman Holmes worked as a store clerk in Gilminton, Missouri. He became obsessed with creating some kind of patented medicine. The couple's son Robert was born in February 1880 and he wanted to be a doctor. His father tried to encourage him by telling him that someday he could have a store of his own but he thought he was too smart for such an ordinary occupation.
