The Different Vowel Sounds in Different Languages

My daughter is now saying Dib a lot. She's got lots of spot books, you know, with the flap. So every time you open the flap, she goes oh, oh, oh. It's like she knows what roughly she needs to say, but she's not quite there yet. I wonder whether that's just like a more complicated sound to making your mouth.
