Do you think people won't have a preference for seeing new things, and the t v just constantly supplies you with new, changing images? I really do. And i don't know if this is actually substantiated in the research or not, but i think this is the same reason that camp fires are mesmerizing,. It's just this kind of endlessly chaotic, unpredictable visual stimulation. At some point, on a deeper level, that becomes too much the same.
