The Threats of Automation in a Capitalist Organization of the Economy

Under capitalist mode of production and social relations when automated technologies come onto the scene they're inherently non-liberatory. How a socialist society would differ is that we would fundamentally see automotive technologies as something to invest in so we can liberate people from degrading forms of labor. The wealth produced by those automated technologies would not go into the pockets of one person with some hand government handouts to soothe the rabble but would instead be reinvested into society as a whole for things like housing for everybody health care for everybody etc.
