Personal Commitments Make a Difference

The bread winstin thing is particularly painul because i respected him. And then he just went into some sort of lalla land and started spouting pseudo science about vaccines. It's definitely confusing ethically, iand it's not something that have a a worked out position on. But as you say, it does matter having met somebody and having liked them and had good times with them. That does change how you engage that person publicly, for better and worse writ i think it's a problem with journalists to get too socially connected to he people in the fields that they cover.
