The Different Regions of Burgundy
Up until the 1970s, it was still the golden age of canals and waterways in France. But slowly, slowly, unfortunately, from the 70s onwards, the government shifted its priorities. They subsidized more the trains, the highways, and the trucks. And so what we're doing now is really kind of saving a lot of these waterways,. which without us would have absolutely no purpose anymore because very few commercial barges travel on them. It's again, the barge trip combined with the winery experiences really, really special.
