The Minotaur and Theseus - The Story of Perseus and Medusa
The story of theseus in the minotaur has actually so much in common with the story of perseus and medusa. The young hero succeeds in killing the monster, then turns out to be an jerk. Theseus gets tools and advice from ariodne and dedalus that will help him kill the monster. He ends up eloping with the daughter of king minos, but then ultimately abandons her, just totally maroons her on an island.
