How Meg Crafted Action in Her Voice
When I was in theater, I said that like 18 times on these episodes, sorry. But plays have very little description. And so I learned to be very sparse and to the point with my description. Because it was all for me about dialogue. So when I started writing a screenplay, I brought that with me, which is not my voice. Meg, when I started working with you when we wrote a show together, your ability to craft action in your voice gave me permission to do the same. You get that uniqueness from that specificity of what's authentic versus your intellect thinking about it in a performative way.
