Easter is a christian holiday celebrating the resurrection of jesus christ. We celebrate this by eating chocolate eggs, by hiding them in the garden and then eating them. In two thousand and 17, on the fourteenth to the fifther, that's the easter week end. And if you don't get it right, not only will you be ejected from the course, but also ejected from the planet. The punishment for failing this exam will be that you will be launched into outer space with nothing but an english sandwich to keep you company. So get ready. Here you go. April fools, i'm only joking.
Here's an episode all about special days and celebrations in the British calendar. You'll hear cultural information about holidays and customs, and some pronunciation work on how to say dates and the months of the year. Transcript and videos here
