How to Construct a Complete Picture of What's the Problem That Needs to Be Solved
One of the biggest ones is probably confirmation bias, right? I even see it in myself sometimes when you want to believe in something. Sometimes you go out of your way to avoid collecting evidence just in case that evidence disconfirms the hypothesis that you really want to believe. In big corporations, you have people who've built their entire career on sounding confidence and optimistically saying my big idea is the best and only idea. Have you seen this in Google? Is all the enough? Oh my god. We've all seen this and then confirmation bias plays a role and logic and consensus,. The other ways for us to convince ourselves just prevents us from actually challenging the idea.
