i go into a show having very little idea what we're going to talk about, other than that they want to talk about whatever to day's news is. I try to be really careful about not talking about subjects that i don't like. So i'm never put off by a show that just says, we'll talk about whatever's going on. And ah, sometimes, as you say, you'll be on air and the news will ange, and you'll suddenly be asked something completely different. That's part of what's exciting about it. It means you have to stay completely alert and tuned into the news at all times.
