How to Make a Portable Fingerboard

I have a fingerboard that I made probably end of 2017, style of 2018. And it's made from like an old seasoned oak burr down very and gave it to me. Well, actually, he is when he injured his wrist pretty badly so he couldn't use his machines. So I made it with him and like a hand routed out like the slot and everything. It is a beautiful piece of wood. But it's quite chunky because it's a burr. For strength, I like kind of left it relatively thick.So there's enough space like just a foot to be strong enough.
