Using a Thousand Dependencies Is Just Absurd, Right?
i get a lot of push back, actually, because it's become so common in the eco system that people don't realize that this is not normal. The idea that you wouldn't want, say, 19 thousand dependencies when you install gatsby is just as ludicrous to them as anything else. So i try to, personally, what i try to do is figure out what we're trying to solve, and then do a little bit of digging. I've posted an read it sometimes. Hay, does anybody know the library that does this that doesn't have ten years of legacy? Ecause another thing with things like request is you're not just dealing with whatever the library author is trying
