The Role of Narrative Placemaking in Theater
There are very few places you can go to work at this scale. And I think that if you have a theater background, you find yourself surrounded by like minds. It's almost like Stanislavski and acting through architecture, landscape, set work, music and lighting. In this business, you are the performance. So the load of storytelling that used to fall upon the actor is now on you. They're all living spaces. But in order to be alive, they need to possess sufficient depth. A set does not bear up under investigation.
