In 1916, Blanca received a letter in the mail from her husband begging her to come home. She learned that Jack was seeing another woman named Joan Sawyer. After months of waffling, she'd made up her mind. She wanted a divorce. The only problem was, without proof of Jack's cheating, it would be difficult to find a judge to grant her one.
