Donated breast milk does reduce rates of necrotizing and recolydus. Nitric oxide, commonly used in other conditions in the UNA, has never been shown to be effective at preventing BPD. Injecting intramuscular injections into these little preemies who have like no muscle mass three times a week for one month isn't very popular among NICUs.
