Are You a Social Democrat?
i'm curious as to your view on the role that capitalism plays in the climate crisis and ecological destruction more broadly. For me, what's broken about the system is that there's just, you know, we're living in an anti democratic system. This is clearly an inadequate solution to our health care crisis, but i do think that it's better than what we had before. And i'm just sort of, epistemologically, very sceptical of the possibility for really radical change to happen. I could definitely be wrong. Like it may be the case that the system is so irretrievably rupted and terrible that trying to do anything within it is a waste of time.
