You can predict what kind of conflicts could happen in the future just by looking at structural features of geopartic. And so i guess it is your pushback that this assumes that states are all alike and that they all pursue the same kind of interest. Or is it that we need to look at how different forces within each state are competing for power, for influence or for their preferences? I think both of those things are true, but i am glad you brought up the latter because, of course, no nation is a unified collective. Every nation is a collection of competing interests.
