Zayed Ibn Kharetha, the Prophet's Former Adopted Son
Usama Ibn Zayed was of course the son of Zayed. And Zayed Ibn Kharetha was the prophet's former adopted son. During the Battle of Muta, which was the first time the Muslims get a glimpse of the great Muslim general, Khaled Ibn Walid,. This area known as Muta was controlled by Arab tribes affiliated with the Byzantine Empire. The Muslims were not prepared for that and they got routed in this battle.
