The Titanic Production Boat - James Karen
James Karen went on 12 of these dives to the wreck during the production of Titanic. Each one was like a 12 to 16 hour round trip, which means by your calculations, it means he spent more time on the wreck of the Titanic shooting the movie than the actual Titanic passengers did in 1912. On one of these trips, they all almost died when a heavy underwater current, which they call a bottom storm. Blew them off course, draining their battery. When it came time to return to the surface, they were almost out of power and nearly froze to death.
