How Much Time Do You Have to Commit Exclusively to YouTube?

If someone's launching a new YouTube channel, or let's say they're new to YouTube, right? Like I was, and many ways still am, what should they do in the first month? Right? There's a million things to do. You only have so much time and effort and energy and resources. If you don't have the capacity to treat like a full time job to be competitive against someone who does, it's going to be treating it like a part time job.
