Europe and China's Invasion of Crimea by Force

The default position has been war in Europe largely since Western civilization began. The 20th century was a slog that we're not going to go back to the day where one nation invades another by force and violates their sovereignty. It's one of the great unknowns is are we safer by having us and China economies as tightly integrated as they are? And I don't know that there's an obvious answer to that.
