The Fall of Hemingway

Hemingway is a good topic for the new year, something about wiping out the old and bringing in the new seems to fit with him maybe because that's how he approached prose. In order to talk about Hemingway in 1927, what we really should do is rewind a little bit towards the end of 1926,. The Sun also rises is just published and he is divorced from his first wife in December. So these are two professionally and personally colossal events. And so I guess Hemingway is a man for all seasons, but let's just say the fall probably more than the others.
