The Myth of the Stupid Savage by David Graber and David Wengrove
Integral seeks to integrate wisdom, the stuff that we have become blind to in later stages of evolution. This book is all about what we would call second and third person, political and social structures. So at any rate, integral does not see the history as what's up here. Automaton's blindly moving an evolutionary lockstep. I mean, that's a straw man if there ever was one.
