I'd never seen anything like it. At that level, I was stupefied. He basically made zero effort to even engage with the room there. It was purely an agenda of convenience for him. Boris Johnson didn't believe in any of the stuff he was talking about. The most important difference is between people who take their office seriously and those who are doing what they think is right for the country. You might think that they're profoundly wrong, but if they're sincere, you can have a certain amount of respect for them.
