I intimacy is all about co-creating meaning. Both of us have to be on the same level and page in the sense of we are creating this intimate or close interaction with each other. And what we found was that, for example, intimacy comes up a lot with self-disclosure in the parent-child relationship. A lot of parents realize this is a special moment to embrace,. They do have a sense of closeness with their child.
