Jamal: I think the thing that a lot of people miss is that whenever this happens, and whether it's a white police officer who does police brutality or a group of black police officers for most African Americans in this country, we're not a monolith. And so, yeah, it can definitely be exhausting, and you have to be prepared for the conversation. Jamal: We've been able to do some deeper work over the last six years at Midtown about having conversations with each other on these issues.
