The process of language learning is complex. As complex as the individual quirks of people who embark upon the journey of learning a new language. Each language lesson is in some ways a unique drama one researcher writes. Learning a second language is not simply a technical feat, it is an expansion of perspective. We cannot hope to understand ourselves and our own place in this world without understanding linguistic and cultural diversity on the human social condition.
