How do you get, how do you let go of resentment from years of suppression slash mistreatment that the society subjects you to asking from a minority's perspective? It's a journey. Part of that journey is I think building a community of people who have shared experiences. The reason I wrote this book is because I'm sick of tired of reading books where it's like, and then I'm fine. And if you start to engage and at least you're aware of it, you'll start to pull in the pieces that you need to start healing"
