Is This a Religious Saying?

When he says a woman will be saved through childbearing, I think he's quoting a local saying and that when he says this is a faithful saying, it should go with what he's just said. If I just take those verses face value, you know, without looking at backgrounds, I could have a very different doctrine. You know, if you if you have a net Bible, do I go out? It actually puts this as a faithful saying up up with chapter two and begins chapter three in the Greek then there's a little footnote that says this may be a local, maybe a local.
