It's about a 20 something young woman named Katie and her mom when the story opens has just died of cancer. She decides to pay homage to her mother and also for her own emotional well-being. So she goes to Pazatano and she checks into this charming hotel where she knows her mother had been many years before. And it's that mood, that atmosphere that's so palpable in this book that makes me think even though on the surface, this is a little, you know, plotty
