People need something to grip onto you so that they're not sucked into the void, figuratively or increasingly literally. This underscores that the theological character of reality is being retrieved by the digital medium itself. We will discover that diversity as it's known today does not begin to capture the true differences that are deeply embedded or encoded into human civilization.
