In Dutch auctions, even though there's a sense in which they don't often achieve sort of like the minimum possible amount of communication between the bidder and the auctioneer, they oftentimes have much lower communication. In a blockchain environment, communication is extremely expensive. If you think about user interactions, if a user has to repeatedly participate and submit many transactions over many blocks, it's not going to work. And yeah, that's sort of one of the reasons I think people like using them outside of sort of strategic reason that Mattias mentioned.
