Bishop: Do we know who the neediest, loneliest, hungriest and thirstiest people are? Are we caring for them directly, personally, getting our hands dirty in the process? Thirdly, the church evangelizes. It does the work of lazarus. I think that's a great christian instinct and a great instinct for our parishes.
