Diaz's Opposition to the Mexican Regime
Diaz was getting old, sober his supporters. In 1910 he would be 80. He distrusted younger men. Most of his cabinet and his governors were from his own generation. It's interesting because Diaz himself was a Mestizo. But they're basically racial science. Yeah. And vilifying the Indian and Mestizo elements of Mexico's population. Which is like almost everybody. Except, you know, for the white people in the cities. There was very little concern for primary schools. The lower orders, they were referred to as the dark lower orders,. They were to be led, not educated.
