The Glorious American Essay
The essay is such a flexible, able form for any one to work out his or her thoughts on the page. i wanted to retrieve some writers who basically have almost disappeared from american consciousness. This is something i like to do because i feel that America has a lot of amnesia. And so there are certain writers that i discovered. These are people who maybe graduate students in American literature know about them, but other people don't know about them.
