Sally Kohn: Central banks have become the post-crisis janitor. She says they try to manipulate psychology and behavior such that they don't need to know all this monetary stuff. The best you can possibly do is market of last resort, which is mostly about psychological effects, she says.Kohn: It sounds intuitive like maybe that should work even more effectively than the other way. But i would argue that by engaging and directly bidding on these assets their propagating false price signals,. Which is leading to further capital misallication and disequilibria.
