Is It a Good Idea to Ban Bump Stocks?
I'm generally on yours and Charlie's side of these debates. Neither ideologically nor pragmatically do I have any problem with banning bump stocks. At the same time, they're so easy to MacGyver that anybody who wants a bump stock doesn't need to go to a store necessarily to buy one. The idea of getting hyper technical about these questions, I think turns off a lot of people. And sometimes anti gun liberal types go way too far in making this point.
