The Importance of Stabilization
I met when I was in Afghanistan, I ended up working slightly outside of the engineering field. My job was actually to try and integrate and understand how the military operations and Afghanistan were either positively or negatively affecting the civilian population. And interesting though, I quite quickly left the military after that because I decided stabilization, humanitarianism was what I wanted to do - it wasn't sort of being in the military anymore. So anyway, that went my appetite. It's not for me, it wasn't about guns, tracks and aggression in the military. As an engineer, as an engineering officer, it was all about supporting people to live, move, fight. But my real focus then was all about
