Exposition Beats Are Beyond Surface, Right?

Exposition is when the author describes, tells the audience what's going on. It compresses time, so we get to see a whole sequence of events in one sense. After expository beats, then we have active beats. These are associated with on the surface, these are kind of green. I use green for on the surface,. red for above the surface and blue for beyond the surface. So exposition Beats are beyond surface, right? Because they're explaining to the audience. Then active beats, or green active beats, are stimulus response. This is when there's information energy that flows from the story to the audience as if it just dropped out of the sky.
