The Importance of Market Housing in Council Housing

Council housing has to go through the same planning authority as a private developer. So what I'm saying is that there's by adding market housing to a full council scheme, all you're doing is reducing a unit that would be council housing. The challenge then is like, these are often sites which are, they're garages, they're bits of brownfield, but they are on our existing estates often. You've got a really important balancing act because people get really nervous and no one likes to have development near them.
