Is the Pediatric Appendicitis Score Good?

The pediatric appendicitis score gives two points for cough, percussion, or hopping that causes right lower quadrant pain. The alvarado score gives one point for rebound pain. Lucleocytosis defined as 10,000 white blood cells per microliter, or more is given two points by the alvaradoScore and one point by the pediatric appendix score.
