The Captain's Failure to Lower Landing Gears
The plane was trying to land on runway 2, 0 when the pilot and first officer couldn't find it. The captain called out gears down three green for the landing gear but didn't actually check if they were still there. "It just doesn't make sense," says NTSB investigator Chris O'Brien.
