What Causes Overwhelm?
When you get stuck in overwhelm, your brain is going to tell the rest of your body to do one of three things. And they're responses that our brains have had forever. It's either fight it, fight the threat, run away from the threat, or just freeze so that the threat goes away because it doesn't see us. So write down what you think is causing your overwhelm. If we don't get angry, we don't run away, we just don't take any action. We can call these feelings out by writing them down on a piece of paper. In fact, this could not be easier than anything else I've ever done. You might never think about separation anxiety
