The big three auto makers are now developing the sort of cross platform battery. They don't want to re invent the wheel for every model, they want to have like a basic platform that they can run everything on. The inperstructure bill includes funding for charging, which is really important because unless you are a home owner who can charge at homeike, the charging situation is really spotty. There's always talk about about the reconciliation baggage, potentially bringing back the tax credit.
